Camping Tips & Trip!!

Hello Peeps!!

I go camping a lot so I thought I would give you some tips on how to prepare for a camping trip.  Plus I recently went camping so I thought I would show what I did and where I went.  So lets begin...

1) Bring lots of sun screen and bug spray
2) For night time, bring long pants, long sleeved shirts and boots that cover your ankles so the bugs don't get to your skin
3) Bring stuff to do for inside and outside because sometimes it rains unexpectedly.  For example for the indoors are cards, board games, movies, a book, and a journal.  Some examples for stuff to do outside is swim, chop wood, play Frisbee, badminton, volleyball, overall stay active as much as possible
4) Take lots of pictures so you can remember all the fun times you had
5) Don't worry if you stink or didn't take a shower for a few days, that's what dry shampoo and lotion are for
6) bring tons of snacks 
7) make sure where ever you go has some place in town you could do or in the camp sites 

8) if you can't go without Internet for a couple of days than what are you doing?  LOL I mean there are some places that have internet but the majority of them don't

9) make sure to bring the right shoes for whatever you do when you go camping, swimming, hiking, and exploring on your own

10) check the weather before going so you know what you need to pack 

My family usually tries to go camping at least once a year because I have a job and school and other things, as well as my parents and their jobs.  In the end we try to get a camping trip booked.  This year due to many things we are going camping once.  Sorry this post is SO long I just wanted to put some picture of my camping trip and share some of my tips for camping.  Hope you enjoyed anyways!! :)

New Orleans!!

Hello Peeps!!

 

I went to New Orleans in Louisiana, from the 27th of December through the 31st of December on New Years Eve.  It was fricken amazing!!!  I loved it down there, it was so active and fun.  I was never bored which is great for me.  It was kind of cold but not as cold as CNY (Central New York).  It was in the 60's there and here in NY it was 32 and below, so I was happy to get away from the cold and go there. 

 

So here are just some pictures I took of things:

 

All three of this photos above^^^ are when we went on a boat tour on the Mississippi.  It was super cold and windy but it was so cool to see everything that is on the water side. 

 

 

 

Well we went to Jackson Square and it was oh so pretty from the view top.  The French Donuts from Café Du Monde were so so so so good!!!! It was amazing.  The silver man was so cool he kept moving and scaring people.  Mickey Mouse and the gang was in Jackson Square so it was pretty amazing. 

 This was the fountain in front of the hotel.  It was so pretty!!

 Went on horse carriage tour, learning about the city is so sweet. 

This was in a restaurant, it is so cute.  They said it was a policy that if its on RUN FORREST RUN, they can keep moving around, but if it says STOP FORREST STOP they must stop at our table to see what is wrong or what's the problem.  The whole restaurant was based on the movie Forrest Gump, the restaurant call Bubba Gump.  I loved it there. 

 

They had an Aquarium with animals and under the sea animals.  If you follow my Instagram, you would've seen the picture of the owl I saw.  My Instagram in case you don't know is @NerdyBeautifulUnique

 

I thought the horns and the blue lights is so good picture. 

 Of course, we went to Bourbon Street and man was it crazy, crazy people, crazy dancers, crazy food, crazy drunk people.  That pretty much explains that in the nutshell. 

We saw the Sugar Bowl pep rally and it was so fun!  I got a lot of things for free from here I will show them in a haul in different post.  This band is called FItz and the Tantrums and they were amazing!!! No Joke!! I never heard of this band before but now I know them and listen to them nonstop now.  haha kind of got an obsession now. 

 

I did buy a lot of things and I will be doing a haul in another blog post otherwise this one would be twice as long.  I will have a vlog up soon on YouTube, I'm working on editing everything so you guys like it.  What did you do for New Years?  I really want to know what you all did.  Hope you enjoyed this post since I sucked at blogmas, haha I tried my best but at the end I kind of lost it, and didn't feel good.
