Places I've Been Lately

Lately I went to visit two colleges.  I took some pictures of the colleges and places around them.

First college I went to was R.I.T./N.T.I.D. this would be my first choice as a college.  I love it there.  I spent a week there over the summer time and loved it.  I wish we didn't have to leave.  It was so much fun.  I didn't take a lot of pictures there, in fact I didn't take any.  Oops.  The college is a mixture of Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Hearing people.  I won a prize from being there.  I didn't expect to win a prize but I did.  I won a soup cup and it came with a spoon like this:

Next I went to Gallaudet.  I spent the night there because it was too far to drive there and back in a day.  It was such a beautiful campus.  It was a very good tour about the place.  When I was there I got a bag they gave us all that went on the tour.  I also went to the college shop, and got a shirt, a wallet, and two very cool pens.

Some pictures of the college now.

This is the "G" if you go up in the air.

School Mascot

The Coffin Door.
I wore my pink fitted V-neck, skull scarf, tucked into my high-waisted jeans, and my combat boots.

I like this stair well.

Since I was in Washington D.C. I thought I would take pictures outside of the college and places I visited.
This is where we ate when we arrived.  So GOOD!

I had a fun time overall, if you visited any of the same places please do tell me in the comments below.  I would like to hear your experiences.  If you go to any one of these colleges tell me your experience.

Odd and Unusual Haul

Hello Peeps!

This is my odd and unusual haul.  This is the last part of the haul.  Hope you enjoyed it so far.

I bought some pants because I was in need of some new pants.  It's either I'm still growing or my pants are shrinking, I think it is my pants are shrinking.  My doctor says I'm mostly done growing.  They are size 2-5, it depends on the store and what fits right to me.  -Target, T.J. Maxx, Burlington

I needed a new candle to burn in my room and found this one called Jasmine Bouquet.  It smells so good.  I got this at Target.

I'm loving boots lately.  I saw these in Famous Footwear all of times and I wanted them since I saw them in clearance section.  It was amazing.  I love the holes on the sides and the laces.  They fit just right too.

I needed some new ear buds so I got these one from Five Below.  I liked these one because they are green which is my favorite color.  And it says they are tangle free.

I got 4 V-necks t-shirts so I could style my skirts and just be lazy and wear them with pants.  I thought they would be cute to wear with skirts tucked in.  I got these from the Men section of Target the small size.

Finished with hauls for awhile now.  I have a lot of ideas coming up.

Makeup Haul

Hello Peeps!

This is the third part to my haul.  I will be reviewing the stuff in other blog posts once I try the items.  I went a little bit crazy with the makeup.

The Wet n Wild color 969 24 Carrot Gold, it is such a gorgeous orangey-pinky color, it's very pigmented.  -Five Below.

I have the Baby Lips in Cherry Me number 15.  It says to "Apply to lips as needed.  Can be used under or in place of lipstick or lipgloss."  It also says it has "8 hour moisture."  I have been loving my other Baby Lips products so I thought I would try another one.   -Target

I've been looking for a new liquid eyeliner, I thought I would give it a try is the Almay Liquid Eyeliner in the color Black Noir it says it is "water-resistant, color wears up to 16 hours, flexible tip applicator for mistake-proof control, unique inkwell design delivers fresh color each time, to use: with cap tightly closed shake well, apply close to the base of lashes press lightly for a fine line, use a firmer touch for a bolder line."  Liquid liners haven't been good for me in the past so I hope this one is good.  -Target

First time I am using primer on my face so this is a new step to my makeup routine.  It is called Almay Smart Shade Perfect & Correct Primer.  It says it will "instantly smoothes and color corrects skin, lavender to even out brighten skin tone, green to reduce redness."  Hope I like my first primer.  I will keep you updated on whether it is worth it or not.  It probably is though because it will make your makeup last all day.  -Target

This product was sent in a mini sample size.  And I liked the mini sample size so I decided to go out and get a full bottle of it.  It is called the Olay Fresh Effect {BB Cream} the color Fair to Light.  It has 15 SPF sunscreen in it, it is a tinted moisturizer.  This will be like a foundation to me cause I don't own any foundation.  Also a new step in my face routine.  -Target

Second from last is an eyelid primer so the eyeshadow and eyeliner don't shift down my face to under my eyes.  I got the E.L.F. Eyelid Primer in the color Pearl number 7503.  It says "Sets eyeshadow for long-lasting color, apply a thin coat to the eyelid and blend in.  Allow formula to dry before applying eyeshadow."  Another new step to my makeup routine.  Hopefully it will work and be long lasting.  -Target

I got an eyelash curler from E.L.F.  Again this is a new step for me.  I hope I like the feeling of curling my eyelashes.  I never did/used eyelash curlers before so I might not be good at the moment, I will work on it.  -Target

I got one last haul that will be posted on Saturday to tell you the odd and unusual stuff I got.

Hair Product Haul

Hello Peeps!

This is the second part to my haul.  I know it is only one product but that is all I bought for hair items.  I will be reviewing this at some point.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Smooth 24hr,  when I was looking at this product in the store, I couldn't find the directions on the bottle as I reread the bottle I saw it and it says to "work into clean, wet hair.  Wait just three minutes before rinsing."  I hope it reduces the fizziness of my hair.  I will be using this in the morning as I shower every other day.  I got this at Walmart.

Have you tried any Aussie products?  What do you think of them?  Let me know in the comments below.  If you have any other suggestions for hair care and stuff, also leave a comment.

Skin Care Haul

Hello Peeps!

I will be reviewing a lot of new things I have collected in the past couple months.  This will be broken into four blog posts.  Skin care will be this one, the next one will be a hair product, after that one will be makeup products, and lastly will be some odd things I got.  I will be testing them out for the first time and will be doing a lot of reviews in a couple of months to see if I would repurchase them or not.  I have a lot of skin care items to review, because my zits and blemishes are being extra horrible lately.

First, for my skin care products I will be reviewing are
This is the Avon Elements Moisturizing Cream Cleanser.  It says "The lightweight, oil-free cleansing cream is infused with Edelweiss and Papaya extracts.  It thoroughly cleanses skin, removing dirt, oil and debris as well as eye makeup.  Leaves skin looking and feeling refreshed and moisturized...  TO USE: For AM and PM use.  Massage over wet or dry skin.  Rinse or tissue off.  Suitable for eye makeup removal."  I hope it works and I will being using this in the morning.

Next, I got Avon Clearskin Clear Emergency Instant Spot Treatment.  It says to "Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product.  Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily."  It is an acne treatment, I used one of these before, it worked well before so I got another.  Hope it clears my skin up like the other one, and I will be using this at night before I go to bed.

I bought two of these, one for my mom and one for me when we have our girls night together.  It's called Montagne Jeunesse Peel-Off Masque, it says to "Gently cleanse face.  Apply thinly & evenly.  Enough for face and neck...  Lie back, relax and drift into pleasant thoughts.  After 10-20 minutes or when its totally dry gently peel off masque to reveal younger, fresher looking, clearer skin.  Wash off any stuck bits with water.  Not for use on sensitive or broken skin.  Use weekly."  Like I've been saying with the other face cleansers, I hope it works, and I will decide whether I see a difference in my skin to buy it again.  I got them from Tops Friendly Market.

Stridex Alcohol Free, there are 55 soft touch pads in the container.  It says to "Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication.  Use the pad to wipe the entire affected area one to three times daily.  For the treatment of acne."  I will be alternating this with the Avon Clearskin Clear Emergency Instant Spot Treatment.  I will be using this at night before bed.  I got this from Five Below.

If you have any other suggestions of what to try for skin care, let me know in the comments below.  Also let me know if you tried any of these products and if you liked them.

Monthly Obessions!

Sorry I haven't posted at all this week.  I have been busy with a lot of school work, work and  bowling.  I think I'm going to give up on the weekly theme since I haven't kept up with it.  I am just going to post whenever I want to.

Anyways, in the month of March I've tried a bunch of new products and three fashion accessories.

Well first for skin care, my face has been enjoying these two products lately.  The one to the left is called Oil-Free Deep Action Cream Cleanser, I use it in the shower and out of the shower, as it depends on whether I'm going to shower in the morning or at night.  It feels so good on my skin it has this cooling and tingly feeling.  The one to the right is called the Clean and Clear Deep Cleaning Astringent, I use with a cotton pad to get all the excess dirt off my skin.

My hands are always dry during the winter so I am always looking for a lotion that really moistures my hands and the Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing Lotion does the job.  It has taken me 2-3 months to find a lotion that actually works.  Disclaimer about it, it smells so weird.  Even though it says it doesn't have a scent but it does to me and I don't like it.

The Avon Eye Makeup Remover Lotion, is good too.  It removes my makeup so nicely.  I use a cotton pad to wipe it off first then I wash my face with soap and water.

I have been wearing this Owl Necklace with everything I wore this month.  It just brings a little extra to an outfit.  I usually don't wear necklaces but this one is great.

I'm starting to wear sunglasses again since it is getting somewhat warmer in NY.  And lately I've been wearing these blue and yellow ones for the last 2-3 weeks.   I love these cause they remind me of spring.  That makes me excited.

Wild Country- This deodorant is so good.  It smells good.  It doesn't leave a stain under my arm.  It's easy to apply.

These are a life saver when I'm in school.  I hate getting up in the middle of class and looking around the room for tissues.  It seems convenient for them to be in my bag.

I've been using this concealer just about all month.  I have noticed that it covers up dark circles really well and it covers my zits too.  I'm the shade number 15 in the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

The Rocket Volum' Express- The waterproof really does work with oily eye lids.  This mascara really does the Volum' and it lengthens I've noticed.  Great product.  :)

The Baby Lips products are so moisturizing.  They moisture my lips so nicely.  I love the one to the right with the sun screen protection.  I'm almost out of it.  I will definitely be repurchasing that.

The Avon colors I order like 2-3 months ago are so good too.  I wear the one on the right more its called Shine Attract Red Smoulder.  Its got some shimmer in it.  Its a beautiful red color.

The Swatches of the colors on skin.

Last but not least, these bad boys! I wore them pretty much whenever I left the house.  They are so comfortable to wear and easy to style.  SO WONDERFUL <3

If you have any of these things please tell me how you feel about them in the comments below.  I'd love to hear your thoughts.
