Autumn/Fall Time Routine

Hello Peeps!!

I'm going to share my Autumn/Fall time routine in the morning.  So let's get into it....

In the morning I typically take a shower.
I use Aussie for shampoo, use Gariner Fructis for conditioner and shiner, then I use the Biore to wash my face, and then I use scrub from Bath and Body on my body.

After the shower, I style my hair.  I put my moouse in - I have been mixing two of my favorite ones.  Or when I don't do a shower I will use my dry shampoo from Herbal Essence.

Eventually, I put my makeup on.  Recently I've been doing a plain eye with winged eye liner and mascara and a dark lip.  Yes, I love the way it looks and I wear it to school.  I like dressing up.  I use the E.L.F. primer in pearl, after that I put a nude color on all over my lid, then I use a dark brown color to my crease, next I put on eyeliner and wing it out a little bit, then I do my face with the BB cream with my face brush, I pick one of the mascara's I have and put one on and curl them, lipstick is last and that's it for my makeup look.

I have a couple ideas for some new posts that I have never seen anyone else do yet that I know of.  So, do me a favor and leave a comment saying what your favorite lipstick is at the moment.  Thanks!

Favorite Apps

Hello Peeps!

I don't have an IPhone but I do have an IPad, well its my family's IPad but I use it the most out of all of us.  So let's get into it.  My favorite apps are like any typical teenager these days:

Tumblr- @NerdyBeautifulUnique

Instagram- @NerdyBeautifulUnique

Twitter- @Nerdy_B_Unique

Snapchat: katiecrazy3

Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/nerdybeautifuluniqueblog

I love these apps because I let you know when I am posting and sometimes I need someone to talk to.  So go and follow me if you're not already, if you want you don't have to.

Some fun and games apps I like are:

iFunny-
It is so funny to laugh at what other people would laugh at.

Temple Run and Temple Run 2-
I find it hard to turn sometimes because I either go too early or too late, but still fun game to play.

Subway Surfers-
It is like Temple Run and Temple Run 2 but in this game you have to move to guy with your finger and not move the IPad side to side.  And lot more that different about them but I'm not going to explain them all.

FF & Friends-
Family Feud and Friends is very intense in my family because we are so loud and got all different inputs but we still love it as a family game.

Solitaire-
I know its a game for the homeless (Comment if you know where that was from) but I'm bored and need something new and it is so easy to win.

Don't Step on the White Block-
It is a very intense game for me the highest I'm at right now is 40, but it keeps me occupied until I've had enough.

I saw that Anna from Awkwardgirlx.blogspot.com did this and it looked fun to do.  Let me know in the comments which app is your favorite app at the moment.  I love to try out new games when I can.

Surgeries

Hello Peeps!!

I thought I would talk about surgery since I have a lot of experience with it.  I have had 6 surgeries in the past.  One had been just recently.  I figure I would share some helpful tips and tricks to help you if you are going into surgery or getting out of surgery.

My very first stitches were when I was 2 at pre-school, and I fell and hit my lip on the table.  That resulted with me getting two or three stitches at the corner of my lip.

The next year when I was 3, I had a muscle and bone biopsy on my hip because of a seizer on I had on a plane ride to Florida that left me very sick.  I recovered but found out I was Deaf/Hard of Hearing.  It was all a blur to me.

The next one was on my stomach I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, I had this big red bump(dot) on my stomach for 2 years prior to noticing it.  When I finally told my mom, she said it needed to be removed.  In my head that was bad news because I was already scared of needles, and I knew it wasn't going to go well.  Now it is off, and the scar is pretty much faded away.

Another big red dot appeared on my face,  it was slightly bigger than the one on my stomach.  This was in 3rd or 4th grade now.  They did a biopse of it and said it could turn into skin cancer if they don't remove it.  So I had to get that one removed, and I was the most nervous for this one cause it was on my face.  If you look closely, you can still see the scar there.  I'm just glad I don't have any disease.

The major surgery I had was my back.  I had scoliosis for 2 or 3 years prior to having surgery.  The nurse at school sent home a note, and it was confirmed by my doctor during my annual physical.  We went to a specialist who said we could try a brace; however, the degree of my curvature was too high for a brace to be effective.  The other option was surgery.  The level of pain from this surgery on a scale from one to ten is a thousand.  This is the most painful and the most time I ever spent in an hospital bed.  I have two rods in my body to keep my back in the shape it should be.  This is a picture before and after the surgery.

Now for the most recent surgery that I've had.  I've had this beauty mark on my leg my entire life, and I always got questions about what it was.  I hated it being there!  I remember once when I was little that I was going to have it removed.  IT NEVER HAPPENED because once I saw the knife they were going to use on me, I COULDN'T do it.  I finally got the courage to do it; it only took me 5 or 6 years, but I did.  I had an IV to put me to sleep so I didn't have to see what was happening to me.  That works a lot better for me so that I don't have to watch the doctor, and I just awake up when it's over.

So those are my stories of all the surgeries I've had in the past.

I have so many tips and tricks for you if you have any similar things going on right now.

  1. Don't chicken out of it like I did because I realized I wasted so much of my parents' money and valuable time.
  2. Find the right doctor for you, don't just go picking one out of a hat and saying oh this one is fine.  Really research the doctors you have, asking family and friends for opinions is also really good too.
  3. My mom found someone just like me that had surgery on her back, and we met up and talked about what to expect, like the pain, what she could do, what she couldn't do, she helped me though everything.  I really appreciated that.
  4. Don't be scared or nervous, the doctor knows what he/she is doing.
  5. The pain is only temporary.  If you cry and don't do anything, you could be like that for the rest of your life and that would be terrible.  Force yourself to get up and move around and walk if you can walk.  Just know your own limits of what you can and cannot do.
  6. If you get stuck on your stomach and can't get up out of bed, make such to have a phone next to you.  Unless you are like me and only have lip gloss to throw at your door to get someone's attention.
  7. The bandage is easiest to get off with baby oil.
  8. Always do what the doctor says don't break any rules.
  9. Don't fall or trip (I fell down put on my pants when I just got home from back surgery, I cried a lot that night)
  10. Tell someone if you notice any changes in your appearence and don't know what it is.

Hope this helped some of you out.  Tell me if you ever had surgery or just stitches in the comments.  Also tell me if  had similar experiences and if you agree with my assessment.
